Sarah has extensive experience of all areas of Human Resources. She has broad, up-to-date skills and employment law knowledge covering day to day operational issues to more strategic requirements. Sarah's specialism is in Employee Relations, helping businesses to maintain excellent working relationships with their teams. Sarah is also trained in Mental Health First Aid.
Sarah has a BA (Honours) in Management Studies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management. She is a Chartered member of the Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD).
Engage was created by Sarah's passion for Early Years and providing an exceptional HR service that is cost effective for small businesses and ultimately ensuring HR adds value and achieves results.
Shelley is an established HR Consultant who works with Engage HR on an associate basis. Shelley has over ten years of experience within HR, and prior to becoming an HR Consultant has previously worked in HR and management roles for organisations including Barclays and the RNLI.

Shelley is an established HR Consultant who works with Engage HR on an associate basis. Shelley has over ten years of experience within HR, and prior to becoming an HR Consultant has previously worked in HR and management roles for organisations including Barclays and the RNLI.
Shelley’s skills include managing employee relations matters (such as disciplinary and grievance cases), developing successful HR strategy and leading organisational change projects, such as restructuring. She is also experienced in Trade Union negotiations.
Shelley is currently undertaking PhD research into the topic of employee voice, and has substantial experience in the education sector as a lecturer specialising in teaching management and HR. She is also a trustee of an education charity, and is the Vice Chair of the West of England branch of the CIPD.
